What kind of care should I give my rat, who has cancer?
I have a very loving, playful 1 1 / 2 years old hairless rat. He has skin cancer and comes with three large red sores on his body. You are not doing very well, is active, curious and still enjoy life. He lives in a large cage with plenty of toys, which changed its bed of pine chips for paper strips to keep the pine oils of your skin and annoy and I changed the food to "Reggie Rat" for more balanced nutrition. I want to know what kind of care you should give it to increase your comfort and longevity. If you apply an antibiotic ointment to the sores on a regular basis? Are there other things I can do? (Graves, helpful answers only please.)
