Is it ok to use a bar of soap for cleansing (on face)?
I always hear that it is bad for the face… then I see that some skin care products do provide a soap bar as the first step to cleansing. According to some magazines, soap bars are too rough for the face… I’m guessing they meant the regular ones where it’s used to clean the body, but I’m not too sure… does it also apply to beauty soap bars that are sold in cosmetics?
Sounds a bit confusing to me…
when the bar of soap is provided, that means it IS a facial cleanser, just not in a liquid form. you should NEVER use body soap for your face, because, yes, it is WAY too harsh for your delicate skin on your face.
