Organic Wheat Grass

Organic Wheat Grass
Can I substitute organic Wheat grass for multi-vitamins?

I have been wanting to try wheat grass and thought I could sub one for the other. I know I can take both but I just wanted to know if I will get a lot of the nutrients from wheat grass that i get from multi vitamins. Also, I heard wheat grass has been known to help for anxiety, which I have, has anyone heard this? thanks

No, for the short answer.

Becuz no ONE food can possibly make up for ALL the vitamins (and minerals) you need. Additionally, the soil that any plant grows in today is unable to get the same amount of nutrients as it would have 50 years ago…so you’re definitely falling short somewhere.

As for the anxiety…never heard of using wheat grass. I know the scent of lavendar will help calm you though.

The Wheatgrass powder in each handy sachet has been carefully grown and packaged to help keep all the lovely nutrients intact. A number of things can upset the nutritional content, such as where it's grown, when it's harvested and how it is processed and stored: Urban Health Wheatgrass is 100% organically grown without herbicides or pesticides. The water content is taken out at low temperatures to keep all the goodness inside the wheatgrass powder. The nutrient dense Wheatgrass powder is then packaged into handy foil sachets to limit light and oxidation keeping it as fresh as possible. The end result is a daily ready to mix drink bursting with chlorophyll, nutrients, vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids.
