Lotion Versus Cream
Is there something I’m doing that’s hurting my fight versus acne?
I have face and chest acne. I’m just going to tell you everything I do that might possibly hurt/help it, and I’m hoping you can tell me if what I’m doing is right or wrong. Thanks.
I drink a lot of soda
I eat sort of unhealthily…a lot of Chick-fil-a and other fast food places (but not in excess)
I’m pretty active (not very though)
I’m not fat at all
I use Cerave face wash and Finacea face cream, which i apply nightly and every morning
I put on lotion on my face after the face cream dries
I also have really red skin on my face usually, especially in the sun
I normally get around 7 hrs of sleep
i shower 2x a day
any advice or feedback would be awesome. also im a 16 yr old guy
Sometimes people get acne for no reason. I had it bad so I went to the doctor and got some pills called acutane. It is very potent and cures all acne withen about 6 months. See your doctor and see what he recommends. He may recommend a dermatologist.
