Dry Hair Spray

dry hair spray
Do you apply hair spray before or after you blow dry?

I blow dry my hair. I heard doing this can damage your hair so I’ve bought some ‘hair protection’. What I’ve bought says it protects hair and keeps hair in place. I do want my hair to be protected and to be kept in it’s brushed shape.
So should I:
1. Apply it when my hair is wet for blowdring
2. Apply it after blowdrying

I would spray it on after you blow dry your hair. Hair spray can make your hair kind of brittle, and more prone to breakage if you brush it after you apply.

If you’re worried about heat damage to your hair, you should buy a product (usually a gel or liquid) that you put on before you blow dry specifically designed to protect against hot styling tools.
