Dry Hair Cut

dry hair cut
I have thick, poofy, and somewhat dry hair. How should I cut it to help minimize how poofy it looks?

I want to get my haircut. I was thinking about asking for long layers and face framing angles. I’m going to leave my hair length 3 inches below my shoulder. Would this be a good idea for my hair type? Does anyone have any other suggestions if its not a good idea?
I was just wondering cuz most people say that layers adds volume, which is something I have enough of.

One word – layers.

Otherwise you’re going to start getting what I call pyramid head where the bottom of your hair is just poofy and yuck!

I’d get long layer put and maybe get it thinned out if you have a lot of hair. Also, I’d try a hydrating conditioner once a week and that will help with the dryness.
