Knoxville $12.78 Christian Fennesz (guitar, electronics), David Daniell (guitar), and the Necks’ Tony Buck (drums) recorded this improvised set at Knoxille, TN’s Big Ears Festival in February 2009. Soundcheck excepted, the trio members had never played with one another. That makes the intuitive, continual rise and drop of energy all the more impressive, but no context is required for the sake of enjoying these four bristling instrumentals. Planet Botox $16.97 2011 album from the Swedish rockers. De Van’s journey began when Eric De Van met producer Tord B?ckstr?m and Stefan ?berg in 2007. Eric had been hired to do the vocals for a theme song for a show to be aired on MTV. The young singer’s impressive potential was immediately recognized by B?ckstr?m and they decided to team up. The songwriting duo soon realized that they had some truly great material and the idea to form a band grew stronger for each song. In the summer of 2008, bass player Cee was the first to join the band. Then, in a period of ten months, followed Greg Andersson on rhythm guitar, lead guitarist Mike Lav?r, keyboard player J. Adler and drummer Bjarne Garmundsson. |
